Meet the Moth

Like a moth dancing elegantly in the dark illuminated only by the light of the moon, Geisha Moth the mysterious woman behind Geisha Moth Designs unveils a glimpse of herself to be read about here.

Belly dancing has been a passionate part of Geisha Moth’s life for over a decade, and for many more years than that, so have the visual arts. Geisha Moth Designs is the union of these two worlds in which Geisha Moth walks – in which she dances. The initial idea for Geisha Moth Designs began with a pen scribble on a paper napkin, as so many innovative ideas do. Shortly thereafter, the pen and paper were exchanged for needle, thread and cloth, and out of this the first Geisha Moth Design was born. MORE
